It is all about promoting chess.

That has been true from the very first shirt — and it remains true today. These are Ms. Rose's own words, and they have guided everything we have done since the beginning.

That decision — to open up what was working inside one classroom to the wider chess community — is how Wit-T-Shirt was born. Not from a business plan. From a chess club, a teacher, and 50 kids who loved the game.

From that starting point, the mission grew. In Ms. Rose's words:

That is the thread that runs through all fourteen years. Not just making shirts — earning a place at every level of the chess world, from school hallways to state tournaments to online storefronts, and always putting the community first.

The collection expanded alongside the players. More designs, more styles, more sizes — because the chess community wearing our shirts was growing too, and every one of them deserved something worth wearing.

We have been proud members of both the USCF (United States Chess Federation) and the Florida Chess Association throughout that journey — because our commitment to the game has always gone beyond the shirts.

Quality has never been an afterthought.
